Molly Van Wert
Licensed Independent Therapist
Molly Van Wert is a licensed independent therapist with a specialty in substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan in 2004 and went on to earn her master's of social work at Boston College in 2009. She started her 15 years of clinical practice at McLean Hospital in Massachusetts in the Alcohol and Drug Addiction division, working a variety of roles on the inpatient level, partial program, and outpatient clinic. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities with a special focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy both in individual sessions and group therapy. She is additionally certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. Molly is excited to join the R.I.S.E. Integrated Mental Health team and work collaboratively in this client-focused practice.
Molly is currently enrolling patients in group and individual therapies at R.I.S.E. Integrated Mental Health in York, Maine and via telehealth. She is credentialled with all major insurance carriers.
